“Early detection and on-going monitoring for risk factors are crucial for maintaining good breast health.”
– Lambert T. Parker, MD
Many women are concerned with the prevention of breast disease, such as breast cancer, fibrocystic and other benign conditions. The guidelines can be very confusing. Healthy breasts begin with awareness and prevention. Understanding what is normal and the diagnostic tests available is imperative to maintaining good health.
Our breast health program also includes Infrared Thermal Imaging, Thermogram, which is a pain free diagnostic test that uses the heat from the body to detect any abnormalities. Thermography does not use any radiation so testing it can be performed as often as necessary.
In most cases, Thermography can pick up abnormal tissue functions years before a mammogram.
